What is Rookie Pan?

Rookie Pan is a recipe website that helps even first-time cooks make home cooking and camping dishes from around the world without failure.

The same content is available in eight languages: Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Spanish, Portuguese, German and French.

How we make our recipes

Every recipe is calculated separately for 1, 2, 3 and 4 servings. We do not simply multiply ingredient amounts: salt and spices increase more gradually, and ingredients that cannot be divided, such as eggs, are adjusted to practical whole numbers.

Cooking time, heat level, pan size and the number of batches are also given separately for each serving size. Each step includes doneness cues such as color, sound and internal temperature, so you can judge the result even with a different burner or pot.

Recipes and the ingredient dictionary are written and translated with the help of AI tools, based on representative cooking methods from each country, and are reviewed to make sure measurements and steps match before they are published.

Updates

We regularly research dishes that are gaining new attention, add recipes for them and expand the ingredient dictionary at the same time. Each page shows its last updated date.
