Cook's tip

Freshly cooked rice is too moist and falls apart, so always use cold rice. The crispy rice softens quickly once dressed, so add it just before serving. For a peanut allergy, use toasted sunflower seeds instead.

Cooking it at camp

Fry the crispy rice at home and pack it in an airtight box; it stays crisp for about a day. Carry the marinated beef in the cooler (below 5 °C) and simply stir-fry it on the burner at camp. Bring the vegetables washed in zip bags.
