Cook's tip
Roast and peel the peppers the night before and it goes in the oven within 10 minutes in the morning. For more heat, add a layer of sliced jalapeños. Leftovers keep in the fridge and reheat in the microwave in about 1 minute.
Cooking it at camp
Line a Dutch oven with baking paper, layer it the same way and bake with more coals on the lid than underneath for strong top heat. The time is similar but depends on your coals, so check the centre with a knife.
