Add in this stepButter, softened 15 gFlat-leaf parsley, chopped 2 tbsp
Cook's tip
Use floury baking potatoes for a fluffy inside. To save time, microwave the pricked potatoes for 4–5 minutes each first, then bake for only 20–25 minutes. Leftover coddle works too: chop the meat and potatoes and use it instead of steps 3 and 4.
Cooking it at camp
Wrap the potatoes in two layers of foil and bury them in the embers at the edge of the fire for 45–60 minutes; fry the filling in a pan on the stove. After filling, cover loosely with foil and set near the coals until the cheese melts. Keep raw sausages in the cooler below 5 °C.
