Cook's tip

Overcooked noodles go soft and thicken the broth, so add them just before serving. Store leftover noodles and broth separately. Short on time? Cut dumpling wrappers or fresh store-bought noodles instead of making dough.

Cooking it at camp

Roll and freeze the meatballs at home, and cut the noodles, toss them in flour and carry them in a bag. Stock cubes keep it simple. Everything cooks in one pot, which makes it an easy campsite dinner.
