Cook's tip

Whipped tuna tastes even better made a day ahead and keeps in the fridge for up to 2 days. Greek yoghurt instead of cream cheese makes it lighter. Choose a close-textured bread so it stays crisp under the toppings.

Cooking it at camp

Make the whipped tuna, olive crumb and jammy eggs at home and pack them in the cooler; at camp, just toast the bread on a grill or pan and assemble. Keep the whipped tuna cold and finish it the same day.
