S'mores
An American campfire dessert of toasted marshmallow and chocolate sandwiched between crackers.
Method
Place a piece of chocolate on a cracker half.

Put a marshmallow on a skewer and toast it about 10 cm above the charcoal (medium heat), turning, for . It is ready when golden outside and soft inside.

Cook's tip
If you put it straight into the flames, the outside burns while the inside stays cold. The red glow of embers is best.
Cooking it at camp
With children, use long skewers (60 cm or more). Melted marshmallow is very hot, so let it cool for 1 minute before eating.
