Kimchi Feijão Tropeiro with Sesame Farofa (Brazilian × Korean)
A 20-minute mash-up: sour kimchi and gochujang fried in bacon fat, tossed with beans and egg, finished with sesame-oil cassava flour, like kimchi fried rice.

Cook's tip
Sour, well-fermented kimchi works best. If yours is young, use a little less sugar and add a few drops of vinegar. Top with crumbled roasted seaweed or a fried egg to turn it into a full rice-bowl meal.
Cooking it at camp
With canned beans and a tub of kimchi, this is a 20-minute camp dinner on one burner and one pan. Double-wrap the kimchi in airtight containers so the cooler doesn't take on the smell.
