Cook's tip
Peanuts burn in seconds, so don't walk away from the pan. If the blender struggles, add a little more stock. Short on time? Use the same weight of unsweetened peanut butter. Never serve it to anyone with a peanut allergy.
Cooking it at camp
Instead of an oven, use a lidded Dutch oven over coals with a few coals on the lid, for the same time. Blend the peanut paste at home and bring it in a sealed tub.
