Cook's tip

Make the crêpes a day ahead, wrap them and chill; on the day you only need the filling. The first crêpe usually fails, so don’t worry. Leftover veal or pork Geschnetzeltes works just as well as chicken.

Cooking it at camp

Without an oven, turn it into a wrap: warm the crêpes, roll them around the hot filling and eat straight away. Bring the crêpes made at home, and melt the cheese on top in a covered pan over a low flame for a gratin feel. Keep the chicken below 5 °C.
