- An American seasoning blend of ground dried chilies with cumin, oregano, garlic powder and more. It differs from pure chile powder and is medium in heat.

- Substitutes
- 1 tbsp chili powder = 2 tsp paprika + ½ tsp cumin + ¼ tsp cayenne + ¼ tsp each of garlic powder and oregano.
- Storage
- In an airtight container in a cool, dark place. Blends are best used within 6 months; home-toasted and ground blends are most fragrant for 1-2 months.
