- A peanut-shaped winter squash with sweet, tender orange flesh. When cooked it turns smooth like butter.

- Use the same weight of kabocha squash or sweet potato.
- Storage
- Whole in a cool place for 1–3 months. Cut pieces wrapped in cling film 4–5 days in the fridge; diced and frozen, 6 months.
