Thin, tender onions with a mild flavor, good raw as a garnish.

Typical dishes and uses

Garnish for fried rice and nasi goreng, pajeon, finishing mapo tofu, topping for Asian noodles.

Substitutes

The green part of Korean leek (daepa), or chives (milder).

Storage

Wrap in a damp paper towel and refrigerate 1 week. Stood roots-down in a glass of water, they last longer.
